I loved the dynamics between Apollo and Troy. They start off as text friends on a gay kink dating app called cuffed. Living at opposite sides of the world means friendship rather than a relationship, right?
They do indeed start of as long-distance friends, but as the reader you can see the current changing towards more than friendship even before they finally meet each other.
The myth a day that Troy tells Apollo was a fun and interesting way of sharing Troy’s Greek geeking out.
Immediately we see Apollo’s daddy side come out as he helps Troy recover from a bad relationship, these two just feed from each other, the connection between them is strong, but it is not until they finally meet on a Daddy Kink holiday resort that they realise they were already Daddy and Little.
Colette never lets us down, with strong characters and solid plots in her stories. But I am super impressed with the mythology in this story, not only in the myths themselves but the vivid picture Colette paints with her words. And when they finally visit some of the sites where the myths originate from, if you read the description and close your eyes you are transported to the place and back in time.
I liked the excitement that filled Troy’s personality especially when they were visiting the historic places. He was bouncing with excitement. I also liked the way Troy accepted Apollo’s job in the porn industry and treated it as just another job.
Troy’s Dad sounded fun and maybe’s he will get his own book. I also loved Jayden another little that they meet at the holiday resort, he really interested me too not sure why, but maybe’s we will get to see his story too.
Now there is some homework for Colette to work on lol.
A sweet and fun romance story. Ideal for if your feeling low or unwell, get in bed and read this book, you will feel better afterwards.
