Hi A. N. Waugh. Thanks for taking time out from your writing, to come and chat with us today.

What would people be most surprised to know about you?

Umm, I don’t know. Maybe that I am not as interesting as I seem, which isn’t that interesting haha. I’m just a boring introvert who spends most their time with books, either reading, editing, or writing.

Do you have a favorite quote (either from your own books or one’s you’ve read)?

I love the Margaret Atwood quote: In the end, we’ll all become stories.

Did you always want to be a writer?

Yes. I’ve always loved books and words, but I never thought I could actually make that a reality. I’m so happy to have the opportunity to have the chance to live that dream.

What are your ambitions for your writing career?

Right now it’s to finish the Men of Maxim series. I want to get these guys’ stories out there and hopefully, readers want them just as much.

What does your writing process look like?

Chaos. Hahaha. There is no rhyme or reason to my process. The only thing you can count on is that I write in order. I can’t skip around. I need to follow the story from one point to the next.

Will we be seeing these characters again? Is this book part of a series?

Absolutely! Jamison is the first book in a series and both he and Vance will appear throughout the series, as will all members of the band.

What genre/s do you enjoy reading in your free time?

I like to read anything except historical.

How do you relax?

Relax? What is that? Haha. Umm, let’s see I watch horror/thriller movies and shows with my kids. But mostly I’m a ball of stress and anxiety a lot of the time.
