DARKNESS MASTER/Mary Rundle
I’m Mary Rundle and thank you so much for hosting my blog tour for Darkness Master, Book 10 in the Blackwood Pack series. The Fated Mates in this story are Alex, Sawyer and Glenn who never expected to find each other. Lots of twists and turns, suspense and intrigue happen along with them receiving some amazing gifts.

After making sure they weren’t being followed, Glenn turned into Ghost’s driveway, stopping in front of the garage. During the long drive, he’d sorted through the possibilities of which of his many enemies made through his years at the agency would want him dead, then snorted. The list is endless! How the fuck am I ever going to keep Sawyer safe? Lost in thought, he never moved.
“C’mon, Snow White,” Ghost drawled, “we have a long night ahead of us.”
Smokey grunted in agreement as he crawled out of the back seat and headed toward the house.
Looking at Ghost holding the driver’s door open, Glenn saw concern written on his friend’s face. Sighing, he climbed out of the car, trying to corral his feelings regarding his mate. He wanted nothing more than to track down Sawyer and claim him but with an unknown assassin on the loose, there was only one path he could follow—find and eliminate the threat. Following his buddies, Glenn sent a text to Riley, asking him what he’d found out so far.
Walking into Ghost’s house, Smokey gave it the once-over, grinning when he spotted a bottle of Wild Turkey, his favorite whiskey. Heading toward it, he said, “Hey, thanks…just what I need after getting my ass shot at.” Grabbing a glass, he poured in two fingers of the amber liquid before bolting it down. Slamming down the glass, he shook his head as the fire spread to his belly. “Arrg…fucking perfect.” Pouring another one, he turned around, looking at Ghost. “Nice place you got here…getting domesticated I see.”
“Fuck off, asshole,” Ghost growled before heading over to a painting. Touching the side of it, he pressed a hidden button, stepping back as the whole wall swung toward him.
“Holy shit!” Smokey exclaimed, staring in the secret room. “What the fuck do you need this shit for?”
Ignoring his friend, Ghost glanced over at Glenn. “C’mon, let’s go hunting.”
Once inside, Glenn watched as Ghost closed the door, effectively sealing off the outside world. Even if the hitman located them, he wouldn’t find a trace of them. For the first time since the shooting, Glenn felt he had the upper hand in this latest game of cat and mouse. But before he could turn his attention to finding the asshole, Glenn first needed to make sure his mate was safe. Sitting down in one of the chairs in front of a computer, he growled, “What’s the log-on code?”
Ghost ignored him, claiming the place on Glenn’s right side. Within seconds, his hands were flying over the keyboard before they paused, waiting until access was granted. “You’re in,” he murmured.
“What intel do you have on my mate?”
“Not much…last name is Evans, he’s a wolf…though I don’t know what kind…and he mentioned his brothers but how many or where they are…not a clue,” Ghost answered.
“What about when he signed up for lessons? Home address?”
“Don’t know…I never see that shit. Once he’s paid for the number of lessons he wants, I receive a text telling me his name, when to start, and where to meet him,” Ghost replied. “He signed up for ten lessons but after today, he might want more.”
“Why?” asked Smokey, sitting on another chair facing his friends.
“Because he wasn’t catching on to it, right?” Glenn growled, turning to Ghost.
“Look, learning how to surf isn’t easy…like I told him. But I could see he was beating himself up over it. What happened out there today don’t mean he won’t learn, it just means it’s gonna take him longer.”
“Can you access his application?” asked Glenn.
Turning back to his computer, Ghost began typing. After several minutes he hit the print button. “Here,” he said, handing Glenn the print out. “He listed an address back east, and other than his phone number…which I have…there’s not much else on it.”
“What about the next lesson?” asked Smokey. “Are you gonna call it off?”
Entering his password, Glenn accessed the records of the High Council, searching for his mate’s records. Riley had set up a backdoor for him so no one would be able to track him. It came in handy at times like this when he didn’t want to alert anyone in the agency. Scrolling through the names, he finally found him. My mate! Gods fucking almighty! Staring at the picture on the screen, Glenn was consumed by the need to take…to claim…to possess. Mine…all mine!
